Cosmetic genital surgery

Cosmetic genital surgery

Cosmetic genital surgery, also known as aesthetic genital surgery or genital plastic surgery, encompasses a range of surgical procedures aimed at altering the appearance of the genitalia.

Both men and women may seek cosmetic genital surgery for various reasons, including aesthetic concerns, improvement of sexual function, correction of congenital abnormalities, or addressing issues related to gender affirmation.

COMMON PROCEDURES

Common procedures for women include labiaplasty (reduction or reshaping of the labia minora or majora), clitoral hood reduction (reduction of excess tissue covering the clitoris), vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty or vaginal rejuvenation), and monsplasty (reduction of the mons pubis).

Men may opt for procedures such as penile enlargement (augmentation of penile length or girth), circumcision revision (correction of cosmetic or functional issues related to circumcision), scrotal enhancement (scrotal lift or augmentation), or pubic liposuction (removal of excess fat from the pubic area).
